What are you going to do?
In this challenging position you are sales responsible for the Horti sector. From the already existing European market, you continue to build in Europe and overseas.
You know the clients, their products and you are aware of technical developments. You think about product-market combinations and solutions to increase sales. In short, you understand and know your way around the horticultural. The water tanks are sold through dealers / distributors / greenhouse builders and projects.
You support the sales supply chain with horticulture-specific knowledge. You keep close contact during the installation of the tanks.
Together with your product development colleagues, you ensure that the products meet the needs of the (new) market.
You work from home (home office) but you are also on the road.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Increase and generate new international business
• Good contact with sales partners and end users in the chain
• Thinking along with product innovations to meet customer needs
• Networking, collecting information, following trends
• Write business plans and sales forecasts
• Participation in (international) fairs
• Traveling to existing relations and to new markets
What do we ask?
• Commercial experience in the (international) technical horticultural sector
• Being able to translate customer wishes into product development
• Strong communication skills, creative, solution-oriented, enthusiastic
• Curious, team player, strategic thinking and acting
• You speak more languages other than your good level in reading and writing in English
• Candidates living in the US are also invited to apply
